Montreal has talent aussi

*** Special Announcement ***

Our popular Talent Competition has been reformatted to offer more festive and enjoyable experiences for both competitors and audience.  It is now held at Kim Fung Chinatown restaurant and the best Chinese food in town is included in the package as in Talent Competition combined with Dinner Show!  In addition to local artists competing for coveted prizes with cash rewards, there will be many other fun activities, e.g., performances from guest artists, singalong sessions of some of the most popular songs, door prizes, etc. Despite of the changes, our main goal of raising funds to donate to local charity groups has not changed and the proceeds from this event will go to Bread and Beyond – Home | Bread and Beyond

Please come and join us for the evening of festive entertainment  (Special menu with discounted rates prepared for our event participants).

Organising Committee

Sae is the organizer of the Walk-and-Talk-French group and moderates weekly activities of engaging in French conversations while walking through the beautiful Mont Royal in downtown Montreal. As walking outdoors is not safe in winter in Montreal, Sae converts the weekly events to Play-and-Talk-French and continues to accommodate the needs of his group members who wish to both practice French and socialize. The members of his group come from all over the world with truly diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.  Together, we explore through the world of cultural diversities around the globe.  Professionally, Sae has been engaged in the global textile industry for many years and is currently serving as the President and CEO of two organizations, namely Clean Recycling Initiative™ (NON-PROFIT) CLEAN RECYCLING INITIATIVE – A TRULY SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM and HEAT-MX™ Thermal Insulation Technologies – HEAT-MX | Thermal Clothes  Sae made home to Canada almost 25 years ago and has been trying to make his best effort to be a good citizen and a good neighbor who is beneficial in the diverse society we live in.

Kate

Hi, I’m Kate : )

I am the founder of Keep Going Productions, where we create live events, with a focus on community building, self mastery and joy. I am the creator and host of Community Sings and Mindful Mondays; both offered through Unity Centre of Montreal. I am deeply interested in humanity’s ability to overcome trauma, crisis as a catalyst for transformation and habit control / practical spirituality.

As a narcissistic abuse survivor, I know firsthand the power of self inquiry, gratitude, forgiveness and unconditional love as the routes to true healing (i.e. self love, wholeness and deep joy). I see the effects of intergenerational trauma all around, but am inspired as more and more people are choosing to become better, instead of bitter. I love vibing with anyone who is also interested in personal growth and expanding consciousness. Life is beautiful, we are living in AMAZING times, YOU ARE MAGNIFICENT!

Montreal Karaoke Club

What automatically puts a smile on people’s faces?  Karaoke!  I organise group outings to karaoke bars in Montreal (not private rooms) every 3 ~ 5 weeks.  The goal is to have fun, meet people and rock out!  You don’t have to be a good singer; come and cheer on our guests, and try singing a song if you feel comfortable!  Even better, do a collab!
